BRISBANE, CA—The Music Link is proud to announce the promotion of Travis Atz as director of product development.

 

In this new position, Travis Atz will oversee development of The Music Link’s key major brands, including Recording King banjos and guitars, The Loar archtops and mandolins, and AXL guitars.

 

“Travis brings with him a rare combination of expertise: not only does he understand the products, but he’s also extremely skilled at production,” said Steve Patrino, The Music Link president.

 

Atz has been working at The Music Link for three years, and regularly visits The Music Link’s Asian facilities to check on product lines, making sure quality is at its best. He continues to oversee production of the best-selling Recording King banjo line.

 

His unique understanding for musical instruments comes from his background as both a luthier and performer.

 

Atz is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for the last 7 years. He is a graduate of Indiana University where he was part of the Music Performance program.
